What to evaluate on
If you are running a selection, these are the criteria that actually separate the platforms — written as advice, not a pitch:
- Content quality and localisation — depth, freshness and the languages your workforce actually needs.
- Simulation realism and cadence — how convincing the phishing is, and whether difficulty adapts to the user.
- Administrative overhead — how much of your team's time it takes to run well.
- Fit with your stack — how cleanly it integrates with the identity, email and HR systems you already have.
- Data privacy and residency — where employee data lives and how it is handled.
- Pricing transparency — whether you can see the price without a sales call.
- How it measures effectiveness — and, crucially, whether that measurement is independent of the platform itself. A program graded by the vendor that runs it is hard to submit as proof.
